Children live with mom. Dad tapes two disclosures with voice-activated recorder and two "stops" occurred. Dad suspects that mom's dad is a pedophile from what children said on tape. Mom testifies that her sister was sexually abused by "someone." Mom testifies that "it could have been by one of a hundred people." At suggestion of G.A.L., judge suspects dad manipulated children to make tape and messed with recording.Judge does not want to listen to argument that stops" did not occur in the middle of disclosures. For example, one occurred (1) after child said, "Don't tape record" and (2) inbetween a question and answer. Of course, all the judge had to do was to re-listen to the tape, which was only a few minutes long. Judge temporarily suspends dad's visitation until a hearing on underlying motion for custody and then visitation must be supervised. Judge allows children to continue living in same house -- albeit not in the same apartment -- with the suspected pedophile. Judge orders children not be left alone with granddad.If mom had been a dad, the children would have been pulled out in a heartbeat.
