The pamphlets were to help men facing the possible loss of liberty, often without due process, often with only hearsay evidence, and often based on only the imaginative fancies in the minds of their spouses or once-significant others.

A number of courts did allow the pamphlets, but it was becoming tedious to request permission court by court.  So one request for permission was made to the Chief Administrative Judge of the Massachusetts District Courts.  In response to his request, CPF/Fatherhood Coalition member Richard Hilly received the letter below from Samuel E. Zoll, Chief Justice, District Court Department of the Trial Court of Massachusetts.

You can make a difference!   Contact your local legislator by email and let them know how you feel about pending laws that affect domestic violence victims.  The Public Policy Department holds priority support, priority oppose, support, oppose and endorse positions on a number of pending laws.
